Fitted a 9RU wall-mount data cabinet and terminated 15 tested, labelled cable runs into a 24-port Cat6 patch panel, leaving 9 ports spare.
The problem
A chiropractic clinic needed its cable runs housed in a data cabinet and terminated into a patch panel, tested and labelled so each run is easy to trace later.
The result
15 live ports and 9 spare, so there is room to add more later. The cabinet was locked up and handed over.
What we did
- Fitted a 9RU wall-mount data cabinet on site
- Tested every cable run before it went in
- Labelled each run so it is easy to trace later
- Terminated 15 runs into a 24-port Cat6 patch panel
- Fitted a shelf, a fan and a tidy cable loom
